Once upon a time, there was a little red hen.
She was very diligent.
She woke up early in the morning. And she also worked very hard everyday.
กาลครั้งหนึ่งนานมาแล้ว มีแม่ไก่น้อยตัวสีแดงตัวหนึ่ง
มันเป็นแม่ไก่ที่ขยันมากๆ
มันตื่นแต่เช้าและยังทำงานหนักทุกๆวันอีกด้วย
“I should quickly finish my chores and prepare breakfast.”
But her friends, Dog, Cat and Goose were all lazy.
They just liked to play everyday.
“ฉันต้องรีบทำงานบ้านและเตรียมอาหารเช้าให้เสร็จแล้วล่ะ”
แต่เพื่อนๆของมัน ทั้งเจ้าสุนัข เจ้าแมว และเจ้าห่านต่างขี้เกียจกันไปหมด
พวกมันแค่ชอบเล่นสนุกทุกๆวันเท่านั้น
One day, the Little Red Hen wanted to plant some grains of wheat.
“Who will help me plant these grains of wheat?”
“Not me!”
“Not me!”
“Not me!”
“Then, I will plant them myself.”
Before long, all the wheat was tall.
วันหนึ่ง แม่ไก่แดงตัวน้อยอยากจะปลูกเมล็ดข้าวสาลี
“ใครจะช่วยฉันปลูกข้าวสาลีบ้าง”
“ไม่เอาอ่ะ!”
“ไม่เอาอ่ะ!”
“ไม่เอาอ่ะ!”
“งั้น ฉันจะปลูกมันเอง”
ไม่ช้า ต้นข้าวสาลีทั้งหมดก็เติบโตสูงขึ้น
When it turned from green to gold, the Little Red Hen asked her friends,
“Who will help me cut this wheat?”
“Not me!”
“Not me!”
“Not me!”
“Then, I will cut it myself.”
Before long, all of the wheat was cut.
เมื่อข้าวสาลีเปลี่ยนสีจากสีเขียวไปเป็นสีทอง แม่ไก่แดงตัวน้อยก็ถามเพื่อนๆ ว่า
ใครจะช่วยฉันเก็บเกี่ยวข้าวสาลีนี่บ้าง”
“ไม่เอาอ่ะ!”
“ไม่เอาอ่ะ!”
“ไม่เอาอ่ะ!”
“งั้น ฉันจะตัดมันเอง”
ไม่ช้า ข้าวสาลีทั้งหมดก็ถูกตัดจนหมด
The Little Red Hen scooped the wheat into a cart and asked,
“Who will help me grind this wheat?”
“Not me!”
“Not me!”
“Not me!”
“Then, I will grind it myself.”
Before long, all the wheat was ground.
แม่ไก่แดงตัวน้อยก็ตักข้าวสาลีใส่ในรถเข็นแล้วถามว่า
“ใครจะช่วยฉันบดข้าวสาลีพวกนี้บ้าง”
“ไม่เอาอ่ะ!”
“ไม่เอาอ่ะ!”
“ไม่เอาอ่ะ!”
“งั้น ฉันจะบดมันเอง”
ไม่ช้า ข้าวสาลีทั้งหมดก็ถูกบดเป็นผงหมดแล้ว
The Little Red Hen went to pick apples and asked,
“Who will help me pick the apples?”
“Not me!”
“Not me!”
“Not me!”
“Then, I will pick them myself.”
Before long, all the apples were picked.
แม่ไก่แดงตัวน้อยอยากจะเก็บแอปเปิ้ลเลยถามว่า
“ใครจะช่วยฉันเก็บแอปเปิ้ลบ้าง”
“ไม่เอาอ่ะ!”
“ไม่เอาอ่ะ!”
“ไม่เอาอ่ะ!”
“งั้น ฉันจะเก็บมันเอง”
ไม่ช้า แอปเปิ้ลทั้งหมดก็โดนเก็บ
The Little Red Hen was ready to wash the apples and asked,
Who will help me wash the apples?”
“Not me!”
“Not me!”
“Not me!”
“Then, I will wash them myself.”
Before long, all the apples were washed.
แม่ไก่แดงตัวน้อยพร้อมที่จะล้างทำความสะอาดแอปเปิ้ลเลยถามว่า
“ใครจะช่วยฉันล้างแอปเปิ้ลบ้าง”
“ไม่เอาอ่ะ!”
“ไม่เอาอ่ะ!”
“ไม่เอาอ่ะ!”
“งั้น ฉันจะล้างมันเอง”
ไม่ช้า แอปเปิ้ลทั้งหมดก็ถูกล้างจนสะอาดหมด

“ใครจะช่วยฉันทำแอปเปิ้ลพายบ้าง”
“ไม่เอาอ่ะ!”
“ไม่เอาอ่ะ!”
“ไม่เอาอ่ะ!”
“งั้น ฉันจะทำเอง”
ไม่ช้า แอปเปิ้ลพายก็ทำเสร็จ
The Little Red Hen was ready to set the table and asked,
“Who will help me set the table?”
“Not me!”
“Not me!”
“Not me!”
“Then, I will do it myself.”
Before long, the table was set.
แม่ไก่แดงตัวน้อยพร้อมที่จะจัดโต๊ะแล้ว เลยถามว่า
“ใครจะช่วยฉันจัดโต๊ะบ้าง”
“ไม่เอาอ่ะ!”
“ไม่เอาอ่ะ!”
“ไม่เอาอ่ะ!”
“งั้น ฉันจะทำเอง”
ไม่ช้า โต๊ะก็ถูกจัดจนเสร็จ
The Little Red Hen was ready to eat the apple pie and asked,
“Who will help me eat the apple pie?”
“I will!”
“I will!”
“I will!”
“Not you! Not you! Not you!
Because you didn’t help me at all, I will eat it all by myself.”
And so she did.
“Umm…it’s delicious! Yummy, yummy!”
แม่ไก่แดงตัวน้อยพร้อมที่จะกินแอปเปิ้ลพายแล้ว เลยถามว่า
“ใครจะช่วยฉันกินแอปเปิ้ลพายนี่บ้าง”
“ฉันเอง!”
“ฉันเอง!”
“ฉันเอง!”
“ไม่ให้เธอหรอก! ไม่ให้เธอหรอก! ไม่ให้เธอหรอก!
เพราะว่าพวกเธอไม่ช่วยฉันเลย ฉันก็จะกินมันเองทั้งหมดเนี่ยแหละ”
และเธอก็ทำเช่นนั้น
“อื้มมมม….รสดีจังเลย! อร่อยจัง อร่อยจัง!”
